"Aswile Kangele und ich während einer Taufe in Bupiga Br. Hauffe" ("Aswile Kangele and me during a baptism in Bupiga br[other] Hauffe"). Brother Hauffe and perhaps Aswile Kangele are baptising a girl. Brother Hauffe is touching the girl's head and is holding a can in his hand. The other man (maybe Aswile Kangele) is holding a plate in his hands. Beside them are two other men who are baptising another girl. At the right side another three men and a woman. One of the men is writing on a paper. In the background are chairs and other people sitting. Hauffe, Werner Aron Adolf (1909-1982), born and probably died in Dresden, was a missionary of the Herrnhuter Brüdergemeine. In 1933 he served in Rungwe as carpenter. In 1934 he was assistant of brother Gemuseus in Utengele. He married Irmgard Wolff in 1937 and served in Isoko from 1937 to 1939 before he returned to Germany in 1939.
