Broadway Ave. can also be seen in the right foreground, in front of the scaffolding, and extends to the vanishing point, in the lower left corner. The Times Building can be seen ahead of the scaffolding, down the street, at middle left. Several automobiles can be seen driving down Broadway Avenue, in the distance. Legible signs read: "J.V. McNeil company contractors", "We pay", and "Times"
