Description
A photograph of a family that was converted by Fr. Hilbert. "The venerable man in the rear center used to smoke opium but at Fr. Hilbert's request he stopped, which was quite an achievement. This family made their living chiefly by growing tea. The young man with the foreign style shirt acted as a catechist for Fr. Hilbert in the mountains near his home. He is the second son of the former opium smoker."
