Logan. Printed". Advertisement reads, "$15 to Portland Now Every Day. An innovation is rail travel 14 months ago, this all-coach train, with $15 fare to Portland, ran on a weekly schedule. It immediately captured public favor -- and soon was operated semi--weekly then tri-weekly. Steadily growing in public demand -- now this fast train service is offered every day! -- Fast Time -- Effective May 6 the 'Coach Special' will leave San Francisco at 8:20 p.m., Davis 11:30 p.m., with convenient connection from here. Arrives Portland 8:15 p.m. next day. Via Klamath Falls, through the 'land of lakes' -- the new Cascade line -- virgin forests, Eugene, the fertile Willamette valley, to Portland.
