Photograph caption dated October 24, 1957 reads, "Explosion wrecks Pacoima garage - Firemen wash down gasoline after explosion and flash fire which damaged four cars at Pacoima garage, 10872 Ralston Ave. Sparks from starter ignited convertible top and flames spread to car's gas tank. Damage was estimated at $2,000."
