Description
Dr. Richard Isay discusses his book, “Being Homosexual.” He begins by explaining that his book provides a psychoanalytical approach to discussing homosexuality. He describes several studies that question whether homosexuality is a genetic trait. He talks about how family structure does not determine a person’s sexuality. Dr. Isay discusses fear of intimacy, especially when dealing with societal rejection and homophobia. He ends the interview by talking about marriage and bisexuality.
