Comments on his grandfather, Raffaello Petri, his father, Angelo Petri and other members of the family; the beginnings of the winery and the growth of the Petri Wine Co.; effect of prohibition on the wine industry; formation of Allied Grape Growers; acquisition of Italian Swiss Colony; sale of the company to Allied Grape Growers and its subsequent acquisition by Heublein, Inc.; wine marketing patterns; purchase of other premium wineries by national corporations. Interview with Dante Foresti re his association with Petri family.
