The women are sitting to the left of the church, the men are sitting to the right. At the beginning of the China mission men and women were not allowed to see each other during the service. Peter Christian Norgaard, born 1875. Sent out 1908-49, married to Kirstine 1909. Xiuyan, Feng Cheng, Beijing, Shenyang, Fuyu. Kirstine Nørgaard, born Folmar. 1877, died in Xiuyan 1914.
