Description
Sacramento and Sutter's Fort celebrated their 100th anniversary in 1939 with a "Golden Empire" Centennial. Many of the celebrants dressed (and posed) in pioneer costume. The ladies are on the balcony of the central building at the fort, while the gentlemen are beneath on the ground. The fort is located at 27th and L streets.
