Photograph of the inside of the Cajalco Reservoir, showing the height of the levee (ninety feet), Riverside, November 19, 1939. The shadow of a man and his camera can be seen in the dust road at center with grass and clumps of dirt lining the road on either side. Lightly-colored tiles form the sloping surface of the levee on the left. The levee continues into the distance as it curves around a grassy field on the right.
