Description
Photograph of an exterior view of the Museum of New Mexico Museum of Art, Santa Fe, ca.1932. Automobiles can be seen parked along the road to the left of the lavish adobe museum building, which is reminiscent of Native American pueblos. The windows appear simply to be glassless portholes, and an number of wooden poles can be seen protruding from the building's sides. The building itself appears to surround a courtyard, a square of hallway-style buildings encapsulating it. Two tower-like structures extend from the left corner of the complex. A regular, two-story building with glassed windows can be partially seen in the left background. The museum building was built in 1917.
