Description
Photograph dated February 25, 1961 reads, "Earl Bastings busies himself pouring gas in the daytime and turns his hands to pouring punishment on opponents at night as he uses the same hands to further a part-time career as a professional fighter. Here he is shown pumping gas at the Walker Oil station in Tarzana. Tonight he fights on the TV program at the Olympic."
