Two men standing behind two women who are seated in chairs. The women are both dressed in black, with long jackets with lace collars, over ruffled skirts. Their hats appear to be tall velvet or beaver. The woman on the left is holding a rolled document in her right hand. An object had been added to the other woman's left hand with color, but has since disappeared.
