Photograph article dated January 31, 1962 reads, "Walter S. Machlan, president of Machlan Realty, has announced the appointment of Mrs. Irene Hagemeier as administrative director of the company. Mrs. Hagemeier has been with the firm as secretary of the main office since the inception of the firm in 1960. She will be in charge of all administrative functions of the companies' four offices, and will also be responsible for the administration of the companies' expansion program which includes plans for the opening of two more offices this year."
