Photograph caption dated August 2, 1963 reads, "Mike Mortara, (6) [sic], first baseman for the Studio City American Legion Post team, races Jerry Feldman of the 20th Century Legion team to first base, but loses as Feldman is called safe. Studio City was beaten 7-2 Friday in first game of state Legion tournament at Sawtelle Veterans Hospital. Studio City played San Louis [sic] Obispo today."
