Description
Photograph of the stone entrance to Hollywoodland residential development, established in 1923, [s.d.]. An archway can be seen underneath a stone tower at center. A sign to the left of the arch reads, "Hollywoodland". A sidewalk lined with bushes on the right leads from the center foreground underneath the arch towards the background. A utility pole is visible to the right of the tower, while homes can be seen in the background. A car is parked on the street at left beyond the tower. Photoprint reads: "If used for publication, please credit T.L. Bancroft/Vanguard Photography, 6520 Selma Avenue, Hollywood 28, Calif., HO. 2-6663".
