Barbara Walter's interviews Zbigniew Brzenzinski and discusses Iran-U.S. relations (1/24/1980). Radio Moscow commentator Vladimir Pozner shares his initial reactions to President Carter's State of the Union address and is joined by Senators Joseph Biden and Richard Lugar. Terry Provance of the American Friends Service Committee (AFSC) discusses the Soviet Union. Daniel Ellsburg explains what atom and hyrdrogen bombs are and the possible use of a nuclear weapon. Audio from a Watergate documentary cover detailing events chronologically from June 17, 1972 to May 17, 1973. Discussion on U.S. economic policy. (Side B) San Francisco supervisors Harry Britt and Ed Lawson examine the Muni Fare increase. David Plotsky speaks on the presidential campaign of 1980. KPFA segment entitled "Crash of 1980?" features Paul Erdman and Doug Dowd touching on the economics of the 70s and their prediction for the 80s.
