Photograph caption dated March 11, 1950 reads "Rug making, one of the oldest American handicrafts, is taught to members of Granada Hills Senior Woman's Club. Mrs. Otto Baty, left, is completing her first hooked rug. Two finished braided rugs are shown to her by Mrs. William Wieland."
