Oral history of the Palmer family by John Cleese.
Notes on original container: Mrs. Anne Matheson, Interviewer John Cleese, Holbrook Palmer, Re. Palmers, Atherton [1/2 lost] Duplicate. Notes included: B. Norris 1-22-87. Annie Nissen Mathiesen born in Denmark 1875, perhaps 1885. Hueding Jutland. Henry Nissen-her husband was my mother's brother. Her brother was married to a sister of my father. Charming tape-tells of Holbrook-Palmer estate in Atherton (1/2 tape was lost in duplication). Barbara Norris 1-22-87. Annie Mathiesen. Talked with John Cleese who brought this tape to me to bring to MPHA. He did not remember the date of the interview, possibly 5 years ago. I contacted Henry Nissen. He was in R.C. in 1936-business American Trust. His Aunt was Mrs. Mathiesen. She died in Feb. 1985, and was 101 years old. She lived in Hollister with her daughter Florence Paterson.
