Photograph caption dated September 8, 1964 reads "Dean Chance goes through a variety of motions on pitching mound while recording his 18th victory against Boston Monday, a 4-1 decision in the first game of a doubleheader. At left he approaches delivery; center he fires, cheek bulging with tobacco, and right bites bottom lip during follow through." The game was held at Dodger Stadium.
