The mayor can be seen at center wearing a dark suit and standing behind three microphones. A sign on the microphones reads: "KMPC 710 KCS". He is facing to the left and reading from a sheet of paper in his right hand. Several other men and women can be seen on the edge of the stage in the background. Palm trees line the stage and City Hall can be seen in the distance. This ceremony was to dedicate Simon Bolivar Plaza.
