Description
Photographic portrait of Rojero, the Indian mission Chorister of San Fernando, California, ca.1900. Rojero is pictured from the knees up, seated on a rock, with his right hand resting shoulder-height on the top of his cane. He can be seen wearing a dark suit, with a pendant around his neck. His beard is silver and grisly, while his facial features appear haggard and full of wrinkles. He can also be seen wearing a wide-brimmed hat, which is secured to his head with a chinstrap. A portion of brick wall is visible behind him.
