Photograph caption dated May 20, 1965 reads, "Members of the Sherman Oaks Chapter of Epsilon Sigma Alpha International Gamma Iota will attend the State Convention May 21-23 at the Newporter Inn, Newport Beach. Workshops in the various fields of philanthropy and education will be held. A formal banquet and dance is planned for Saturday night where awards will be presented to outstanding chapters for their accomplishments in education, philanthropy, chapter procedures and excellence in compiling a scrap book."
