Photograph caption dated June 7, 1961 reads, "Kingsized check goes to Dr. Mario De Lara, right, chairman of the East Valley YMCA board. Arno Bender, president of North Hollywood Optimists [sic] Club, gave the $500 check for use in benefiting youngsters".
