"Frk. Theodora Rosaas's gravsted paa Sirabe" ("Miss Theodora Rosaas's grave in Sirabe"). Theodora Rosaas was born in Antsirabe on April 4,1873. She worked in the school and among the women as a missionary in Madagascar from 1893-1900. She died in Antsirabe on March 6, 1900. Her parents were Thorkild Guttormsen Rosaas, a missionary in Madagascar from 1869-1907. Her mother was Juline Elisabeth, maiden name Thomassen. The grave is right outside the church in Antsirabe. Later on those who died were buried on the cemetery for foreigners in the southern part of the town.
