Description
This 1910 postcard captures the Southern Pacific railroad bridge, as seen from the Yolo County side of the Sacramento River. Opened in December 1895 as a drawbridge, it was also considered to be the first railroad bridge in California to offer an overhead way for vehicles and pedestrians.
