Photograph of the main portico of the Polytechnic High School, Washington Street between Hope Street and Flower Street, Los Angeles, ca.1905-1910. The 3-story stone Greek-revival building has a grand portico entrance at the head of a broad set of stairs. Six ionic columns support a wide pediment. Inside the pediment are leafy ornamental moldings with a seal containing the year "1905".
