Photograph caption dated April 12, 1962 reads, "Immigrant creation - Kenneth Ross, Los Angeles art commissioner, inspects Simon Rodia's Towers in Watts. Mosaic structures were repaired recently with funds donated by public. Landmark is at 1765 E. 107th St. and is open from noon to sunset daily."
