Description
This 1939 photograph shows a small holiday procession making its way west, on J Street. In the background is the Masonic Temple at 1123 J Street. A heavily laden pickup leads with two signs attached, one reading "Donner," and the other "Freedom for All." Swags of greenery form arches along the street and light poles are covered to look like candycanes.
