Description
Album is bound in dark faux animal skin material. A fleur de lis graphic element is embossed in the center of cover. The title, "Molokai" is embossed below that in gold lettering. The number "55" is affixed to the top of spine with glue. This this is the third album of Molokai photographs. Images in this album include clinical photographs of leprosy patients likely taken in Dr. William Goodhue's medical clinic, studio portraits, and panoramic views of Molokai landscapes.
Moderate wear to surface and edges. Slightly more wear where cover meets spine. Pages 52-96 are blank. For some of the medical photographs, notes by scholar Adria Imada identifying patients and case numbers were left by her between pages. The information from these notes has been transcribed in the "Notes" field of each corresponding record.
