Commencement speaker, Rabbi Edgar F. Magnin, delivers his address during the first graduation ceremony held outdoors in the Fouch Amphitheater on the Malibu campus. Stauffer Chapel, still under construction appears in the background, while Pepperdine University administrators and guests flank the podium. Individuals on the right include William S.
