Description
Expositional statements by Peter F. Drucker exploring the management process. Drucker uses the Mariner Paper Company of Prairie City, Missouri, as a case study. At Mariner, Philip French successfully managed to build his company into a successful enterprise. However, he made most of the important business decisions himself, and as he aged, the question arose of who his successor would be. The main owners of the Mariner stock propose different plans for the future of Mariner Paper Company, and the reader is prompted to test the three proposals for Mariner and state what is needed in order for each to be successful.
