Description
A letter from F. de Amat, Consul of Spain, Consulate General of Spain, to Seijiro Ogawa incarcerated in the Tule Lake Segregation Center. He was one of the 97 repatriates who were not able to board the Gripsholm exchange vessel because of lack of space on the ship. The Spanish Embassy informed him that even though they requested the Japanese Government to grant priority in the next exchange to those 97 individuals, they had not heard from the Japanese Government.
