Annotation translation: "or Calicut?" Annotation: "od. Kalikut?" Note: "Nr. 29 [QC-30.016.0023] gibt das Bild vom Missionshaus in Tschirakal mit den Mädchen der Anstalt. In der Einfahrt steht Br. Müller, neben ihm sitzt m. l. Frau u. ihr zur Seite die Vorsteherin der Schule, Frau Ramawarma. Der feinverzweigte zypressenartige Baum ist der australische Casarino ." (3. Quartalsbericht 06.10.1860: 3). Note translation: "No. 29 [QC-30.016.0023] shows a picture of the mission house in Chirakal with the girls of the boarding school. Brother Müller is sitting in the entrance with my dear wife, and at her side there is the headmistress of the school, Mrs Ramawarma. The fine cypress-like tree is an Australian Casarino."
