Back of the photograph reads, "Planters exhibited in the Scripps College "Garden Living" Exhibition before planting include, from top of the picture down: freeform by John Cipot, Los Angeles; large oval planter decorated with sgraffitoed equestriennes, by Phil Paradise, South Pasadena; dark round planter and taller, footed pot, both by Harrison McIntosh, Claremont; two smaller household planters are production items designed by Peter Voulkos, for the Archie Bray Foundation, Helena, Montana."
