Title supplied by cataloger. Looking southwest towards Bunker Hill (center) from the tower of the Los Angeles City Hall. Redevelopment for this downtown area has yet to completed, as indicated by the empty lots seen between 1st and 4th streets off of Grand Avenue. The "portable" parking structure located at 1st Street and Grand Avenue is being assembled. A little further south are "The Castle" and "The Saltbox," the last two remaining historic Bunker Hill homes. At the time this photograph was taken, the homes had yet to be relocated to Heritage Square Museum, where they were destroyed by fire in 1969.
