Description
This circa 2000 postcard shows the Downtown Plaza Mall, located on K Street, between Seventh and Third streets. The tapestry of stores was born out of the Downtown Plaza Associates, a group of local investors and the Hahn Group who - in concert with the City of Sacramento - redeveloped the area occupied by the plaza. By 1993, the 107 million dollar Downtown Plaza was ready to host 120 stores, and accommodate up to 4,000 automobiles.
