A man and a woman stand on the corner with a lot full of parked automobiles behind them, other pedestrians and automobiles navigating the sidewalks and streets. A two-story craftsman-style building stands behind the parked cars, obscured by a palm tree to the left. A sign in front of the lot reads "Julian Service Station / Lightning Gasoline Thunderbolt of Power / Rainbow Motor Oils". High rise buildings fill the background, along with a second craftsman building. A net of streetcar cables extends over the top of the image.
