Guy DeBerc (French Line general manager in the United States and Canada) Jean Pezard (general freight manager for French Line in France) Greeting new shipping line's first automobile carrier SS "Eptanissos". Supplementary material reads: "Monday Early. City Desk. Gershon. Illus. New trade. Guy deBerc [sic], French Line general manager in United States and Canada, from New York, and Jean Pezard, general freight manager for French Line in France, greet new shipping line's first automobile carrier the S.S. Eptanissos. Vessel is one of three which will call here monthly direct from LeHavre with 1,030 automobiles more than half of which will be unloaded here, the remainder in San Francisco. The new Line is CAT, a subsidiary of French Line and Renault Motor Car Company of France".
