Description
"Zauberer in der Nähe von Tabora" ("Sorcerers near Tabora"). In the foreground a boy. Behind him two persons, the sorcerers. In the background houses and trees.
Johannes Vogt was bishop of the Moravian Church and has visited Tanganyika in the years 1938 and 1939.
cf. picture no. IMP-HRN-BOX-UNY-3-11744. Here the sorcerers are referred to as "necromancers".
