Photograph caption dated September 4, 1962 reads, "Together they represent 70 years of service. They are George F. Osborne, assistant North Hollywood postmaster, shown in the left photo with Harry Ross, right, superintendent of mails, and Ivan Hall, right photo, pictured with Louis A. Schnermann, left, and Mrs. Tracy M. Dobson, North Hollywood. Osborne, who retired Friday after 30 years of service, joined the Post Office Department as a clerk in 1923. He was given a certificate signed by the regional director citing his 'honorable and outstanding service.' Hall retired Friday after 31 years of service. He started his career as a letter carrier in Neligh, Neb., and was transferred to the North Hollywood Post Office in 1951."; See image #00112746 for additional photo in this series.
