Photograph caption dated March 25, 1955 reads, "Mrs. Richard Maurer, left, Christian Women's Fellowship president, Mrs. Russell Hensley and Rev. Hensley, Reseda First Christian Church minister, inspect lumber they hope to purchase with funds raised by the fellowship's two-day rummage sale next week. The coveted construction materials will be used in fabricating a new sanctuary and Sunday school unit."
