Description
Hēvisi Mandapaya: The pavilion facing Lankatilaka vihare. A building with 40 stone pillars, it may have been a pavilion for hēvisi drummers. Detail of lion figures of stucco separated by pilasters in a dado (frieze) that is found around the entire stylobate (platform) except for the space occupied by the steps on the east and west sides.
