Description
Lucille Coke, Calico's First (and last) Lady, stares up at the sun through a glory hole in an old silver mine. The town of Calico was purchased by Walter Knott, a relative of a former owner of the Silver King Mine, and he donated it in 1966 to San Bernardino County. It survives as a 480-acre regional park.
