Demolition of buildings between Perry and Stillman Streets and the San Francisco Anchorage and 5th Streets is well under way, with concrete piles being driven for the viaduct approach between Fourth and Fifth Streets. C. H. Purcell is Chief Engineer of the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge.
