Scope/Content: Manuscript copy of 1665 text.
Scope/Content: Manuscript copy by Ann Owen of large portions of the 1665 edition of Christopher Simpson's Division-viol. According to a 1994 article by Richard Charteris, there are some omissions from the 1665 text (particularly the Latin translation of the text) as well as some sections of music.

Condition: Bound in brown calf; covers completely detached and pages loose at front of text block; damage and peeling to spine and covers.
