Chemonite wood preservative. Treated 4" x 6" white fir post shown in #6977 after splitting. One half laid above the other. Sound to center. Shows also end penetration. Ground line is about 3/4" to left of picture center at axe bruise. One half taken to Berkeley, other half returned to ground. See also #6976-77. 8-6-41. E.F
