Description
World War I veterans, many on crutches, some with empty sleeves, and others suffering from the ravages of war gas, rub shoulders with veterans more fortunate as they marched together into various offices to apply for bonus loans on March 2, 1931. Here is Bob Summerville, who lost his leg in the battle of Argonne forest.
