Caption dated January 19, 1965 reads, "First pair of tickets to San Fernando Valley Premiere of 'The Greatest Story Ever Told' were purchased by Mayor Samuel Yorty. From left, Mrs. Ferdinand Mendenhall and Mrs. Paul Bogendorfer, postmaster of Van Nuys, members of the premiere committee, and civic leader Martin Pollard, president of Valley Presbyterian Hospital. The hospital will benefit from event Wednesday night, Feb. 24, at Pacific Cinerama Theater in Hollywood. Mayor Yorty was named Honorary chairman for the premiere."
