Description
Groups of sunbathers lying on lawn in their bathing suits. A couple is in the center of the frame. They are shaded by a grove of trees. A white stucco hotel or resort building is in the background, with what appear to be hotel rooms with French doors and grid windows opening onto the lawn. The building is at least two stories. A balcony with iron fence runs along the second floor. From a strip of Eastman Plus X negatives showing vacation images from somewhere in California. There are two primary settings: 1) A multi-story Spanish-colonial resort set amidst trees, that appears to be near a river or lake with a stone arch bridge above a swimming area. There also appears to be a golf course nearby. 2) Small sailboats participating in a sailing regatta in a body of water with hills in the background and a small harbor and marina with parking lot and stucco buildings along the shore. Related images are also found in 1993-12-79 and possibly 1993-12-75.
